PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel capable of easily conducting selection and conversion of an optimal shape of a handle at a low cost, according to a situation of fishing, a condition thereof, or a preference of a fisherman. SOLUTION: This fishing reel 10 is used for winding a fishline around a spool 14 by driving a drive mechanism 16 in a reel body 12 through a handle body 34, wherein the handle body 34 has a drive and connection part 36 fixed to the drive mechanism 16, a posture change part 38 supported on the drive and connection part 36, so as to be subjected to posture change, and a handle part 40 fixed at the posture change part 38 and the handle part 40 is formed so as to be attachable to and detachable from the posture change part 38.
