<p>The invention concerns a tyre with radial carcass reinforcement (2) comprising a crown reinforcement consisting of at least two working crown plies (41, 42) of inextensible reinforcing elements, crossed from one ply to the next forming with the circumferential direction angles ranging between 10° and 45°, at least one protective layer (44) being radially outside the working crown plies, said crown reinforcement being radially capped with a running tread (5). The tyre further comprises in each shoulder a layer of circumferentially oriented elements having a corrugation, the axially inner end of said additional layer being radially adjacent and outside the radially outermost working layer (42) and radially adjacent and inside at least part of the protective layer (44).</p> |
