The method involves, at a first time point, storing data correlated with a relative position of the target with respect to a marker. The relative position is derived from the data. At a second time, an absolute position of the marker is derived. From the absolute position of the marker and the relative position of the target, an absolute position of the target is derived and the focal point is aligned with the absolute position of the target. Independent claims also cover apparatus for carrying out the method.
