In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for producing molded bodies from comminuted plastic waste using a two component polyurethane binding agent, wherein the process comprises coating a portion of the waste with a polyol component and a portion with an isocyanate component prior to mixing and pressing. The coated polymer waste is then mixed and brought together in a mold and pressed to form molded bodies.
