A cannula introducing device comprises a body (10), a needle (12) projecting from the front end of the body, a wheel (18) mounted in or to the body and having a rim engageable by the user to turn the wheel, and a plunger (16) at the front end of the body, arranged to be advanced upon rotation of the wheel, in order to advance a cannula (22) disposed over the needle.
