A system and a method for assigning a dynamic ID to an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag, and the RFID tag, an RFID terminal, and a recording medium for the same are provided to safely assign/record ID information to the RFID tag with mutual authentication between the RFID tag and the RFID terminal through an encoding protocol using an encoding key and a key index. The RFID tag(100) generates an authentication value corresponding to a received random number with a key matched with the key index after receiving the random and the key index from the RFID terminal(300), and transmits the generated authentication value to the RFID terminal. The RFID terminal receives the authentication value from the RFID tag, generates the authentication value corresponding to the random number, and authenticates validity of a security key matched with the key index. If the validity is authenticated, the RFID terminal extracts and encodes the ID information assigned to the RFID tag, and transmits the encoded ID information to the RFID tag. The RFID tag decodes the encoded ID information received from the RFID reader and stores the decoded ID information to a memory. |
