<p>A wireless communication terminal having a function of calculating a movement speed and a method thereof are provided to control operations which has to be restricted according to a movement speed by calculating the movement speed. A wireless communication terminal having a function of calculating a movement speed comprises a wireless transceiving unit(150), a storage unit(120) and a controller(110). The wireless transceiving unit(150) receives a signal from each base station via an antenna. The storage unit(120) stores power strength of a signal received from each base station, and a distance matched according to the power strength. The controller(110) calculates a movement speed by referring to the power strength of the received signal, its matched distance and the movement time of the terminal.</p> |
