VARIABLE GAIN AMPLIFIER AND THE WIRELESS COMMUNICATION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME

A variable gain amplifier and a wireless communication device including the same are provided to make a gain control possible without changing an IO impedance matching operation. A wireless communication device includes a variable gain amplifier comprises an antenna(110), an electric power amplifier(120), an up-mixer(130), a baseband amplifier(140), an oscillator(180), and a baseband processor(190). The baseband amplifier(140) amplifies a baseband signal outputted by the baseband processor(190). The up-mixer(130) mixes an oscillation signal, generated by the oscillator(180) with the amplified baseband signal, and outputs an RF(Radio Frequency) signal. The electric power amplifier(120) amplifies the RF signal and outputs the amplified RF signal to a wireless channel via the antenna(110).
