A method and a device for manufacturing a glass frame and a method of joining a band-like glass pane. The device comprises a molding die (21) having a rectangular frame-like storage recessed part (23) and storing a plurality of band-like glass panes (31) and (32) in the storage recessed part (23) in an overlapped state at their end parts, a coil heater (24) melting the end parts of the plurality of band-like glass panes (31) and (32) stored in the storage recessed part (23) of the molding die (21) by simultaneously heating the end parts of the band-like glass panes, and a pressing machine unit (22) simultaneously pressing the end parts of the plurality of band-like glass panes (31) and (32) molten by the coil heater (24) so that their thicknesses are equal to the plate thickness of the band-like glass panes. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
