<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan unit that is reduced in leakage of exhaust gas and high in exhaust efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: A fan unit mounting unit (2) is provided with a tubular wall (2a), projected from the inside surface of a panel (1) for forming an outer wall, and formed integrally with the panel (1) for forming the outer wall; and an exhaust port (1d), formed on the part of the panel (1) for forming the outer wall at the inside of the tubular wall (2a), while a fan unit (U5a) having a motor (4) with a turnable rotor (4b), a support pillar (3) for supporting the motor (4), and a fan (5) that rotates integrally with the rotor (4b), is mounted under the condition with the fan (5) being received turnably in the tubular wall (2a).
