<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized DC motor designed to be easy to install, and miniaturized, without causing the driving characteristics to deteriorate. <P>SOLUTION: A small-sized DC motor 1 includes a motor frame 3, having a cylindrical section 4 having a given plate thickness, and in such a shape that the corners are crushed inward, while leaving a part of each side of a rectangular in cross-section, and a magnet 2, having a peripheral surface in its inside, and in such a shape that its outside is made to come into close contact with the motor frame 3. The shapes are constituted of a shape where respective sides adjoining each other are connected by arcs of arbitrary forms, a shape in which respective sides adjoining each other are connected by arcs with radii having arbitrary ratios with respect to the length of radius of arc forming the peripheral surface, and a shape in which respective sides adjoining each other are connected by straight lines. The magnet 2 is formed within the ratio that has maximum width with respect to the minimum width to be in the range of 1:2 to 1:3, as viewed from radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
