PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module for a liquid storing vessel which can control a displaying part such as an LED to emit light without exerting an effect of noise to signals, and to provide a liquid storing vessel, a recorder and a controlling method. SOLUTION: An ink tank inputs data signals 402 and 403 from a printer and controls to drive the LED equipped in the ink tank on the basis of the data signals 402 and 403.
