PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact planetary gear assembly for a final drive mechanism having an outside surface. SOLUTION: A planetary gear is assembled in an integrated planetary gear carrier. Herein, the outside surface of the final drive mechanism forms part of the carrier. The outside surface continuously exists near each planetary gear in the assembly.
