PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulator capable of improving assemblability on a core. SOLUTION: This insulator 12 includes a main body 21 covering axial one end face of the core having a plurality of teeth portions extending in the radial direction and a plurality of extension sections 22 covering respective slots formed between the respective teeth portions which extend from the main body 21 in parallel to the axial direction of the core and are adjacent to each other. An extension length L1 of the extension section 22a from the main body 21 is set so as to be longer than extension lengths L2 to L4 of the remaining extension sections 22b to 22d.
