PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system with which the operation of security terminals can be efficiently confirmed by confirming the operation of the security terminals even while being in a security target facility and the loads of a center device and a communication line can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The security system comprises: the security terminals for transmitting security information of the security target facility; the center device for acquiring the security information from the plurality of security terminals and displaying and managing the security information; and a display and confirmation device for confirming the operation of the security terminals. The display and confirmation device is provided with: a communication means for transmitting and receiving the security information or the like to/from the center device; and a display means for displaying the security information acquired from the center device. The security information acquired by the communication means and displayed by the display means is the information displayed by the center device and information requested to the center device.
