PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system capable of uniformly making exhaust gas flow out in the peripheral direction from its downstream end part, while effectively preventing vibration of the downstream end part of an exhaust conduit. SOLUTION: This exhaust system has an exhaust pipe 21 deriving the exhaust gas G from an engine E and a muffler 23 connected to its downstream side. The muffler has an expansion chamber 43, the exhaust conduit 49 introducing the exhaust gas G of the engine E to this expansion chamber, and an exhaust buffer 50 arranged on the downstream end of this exhaust conduit 49. The exhaust buffer 50 has a peripheral wall 59 forming a part of the outer periphery of the exhaust conduit 49 and a passage end wall 60 forming the tail end of the exhaust conduit 49. The passage end wall 60 swells toward the upstream side of the exhaust conduit P. A plurality of outflow holes 59a making the exhaust gas G flow out to the expansion chamber 43 are formed on at least the peripheral wall 59 between the peripheral wall 59 and the passage end wall 60.
