PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine housing capable of preventing reduction in turbine efficiency by using exhaust gas without waste. SOLUTION: The turbine housing is equipped with an inside housing 10 and an outside housing 20, and a shroud member 60 for surrounding a shroud part 1d of a turbine wheel. A gap G0 is formed by the outside housing 20 and an outlet side end, and an outlet side end 16 of the inside housing 10 is inserted into the gap G0. The gap G0 is closed with respect to the outlet side of the turbine wheel, and is opened to the upstream side of the turbine wheel. Since the gap G0 is closed with respect to the outlet side of the turbine wheel, leakage of exhaust gas from the gap G0 to the outlet side of the turbine wheel is prevented. Further, exhaust gas present in the gap G0 flows to the upstream side of the turbine wheel, and is used for drive of the turbine wheel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
