PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a cleaning person to confirm soil at a glance even if a bowl surface, a discharge port or a spout is soiled during use in an automatic water supply device of a wash basin or the like, and to clean the discharge port or spout at a stretch together with the cleaning of the bowl surface. SOLUTION: This automatic water supply device comprises an object detecting means for detecting an object; an opening/closing means for opening and closing a water supply passage based on a detection signal from the object detecting means; the discharge port from which water is discharged; and a bowl for receiving water. The discharge port is disposed at the bowl surface of the bowl, and the bowl surface is exposed when the bowl is viewed from the eyes of a user or the cleaning person such as a view from the top.
