PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass panel support structure hardly impairing appearance and view. SOLUTION: The glass panel support structure for supporting a glass panel P to the skeleton A side is provided with a first pressure contact member 7a that can come in pressure contact with the first end face 4a side facing one side in a lateral direction along the glass surface of the glass panel, almost in a chain along the longitudinal direction, and a second pressure contact member 7b that can come in pressure contact with the second end face 4b side facing the other side in the lateral direction, almost in a chain along the longitudinal direction. Both ends of these pressure contact members are fixed to the skeleton side to clamp the glass panel from the lateral direction by the first pressure contact member and second pressure contact member, thus supporting the glass panel to the skeleton side.
