PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily producing a (meth)acrylate ester having stabilized quality, without causing discoloration for a long period, while the method does not require such a complicated process that purification of the (meth)acrylate ester is conducted for avoiding the discoloration during or after production thereof. SOLUTION: This method for producing the (meth)acrylate ester comprises reacting a (meth)acrylic acid component with an alcohol, wherein an alcohol having an aldehyde value of≤0.04 is used as the alcohol.
