PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding wheelchair foldable by forming a seat part and a backrest part movably in the front/rear direction and narrowing the interval between right/left body frames. SOLUTION: This folding wheelchair 1 is constituted of a pair of right/left small-diameter auxiliary wheels 4 disposed in front of a pair of right/left side frames 2, a pair of right/left large-diameter main wheels 3 disposed in the back of the pair of right/left side frames 2, a pair of right/left backrest frames 8 having their lower ends connected and pivoted onto the side frames 2 between the small-diameter auxiliary wheels 4 and the large-diameter main wheels 3, a locking means locking rearward tilt of a backrest part 6, a pair of right/left seat part frames having their base ends connected and pivoted to the middle part of the backrest frame 8 and approximately horizontally moving in the front/back while being engaged with the side frame 2 from the base end toward the tip, and a seat part 5 having a seat member with flexibility stretched between the seat part frame.
