PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for diffusing a volatile material which can diffuse a volatile material well on an air current from an electric fan no matter where on the electric fan the container is attached. SOLUTION: The container for diffusing a volatile material comprises an inflow port 2 which inhales an air current S generated by the electric fan and an outflow port 3 which exhales the air inhaled, houses a volatile material holder 4 which contains the volatile material, and diffuses the volatile material contained in the volatile material holder 4 by using an air current from an air blower through the outflow port 3 to outside. By comprising a straight flow passage 17, which enables the air current S from the electric fan to be flown straight, on the peripheral of the volatile material holder 4, the air current S is flushed into the straight flow passage, and the volatile material diffused by the volatile material holder 4 is attracted to the air current S flowing through the straight flow passage to be diffused well into living environment through the outflow port 3.
