<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a branch cable which reduces the manufacturing lead time and the cable losses, and assures the safety-enhanced manufacturing works without the need for the large-sized stranding machine. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a branch cable from its ends toward a cable to be lifted up at the stringing time comprises: a step S1 wherein many pieces of communication cable are twisted around a binding wire, and a presser-winding is performed around this peripheral section, or a step of binding the cables with a tape up to the position corresponding to the cable branch section (S2); a step S3 of pulling out and cutting into a given length the communication cable to be branched in this position, or a step of cutting and pulling out the cable.
