<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for a vehicle capable of easily forming an oil passage for supplying a lubricating oil to an input side rotating shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission member (second input shaft) 18 is rotatably supported by a tubular third case part 12c covering the outer periphery of the transmission member, and the lubricating oil is supplied to a vertical passage 146 in the transmission member 18 through a lubricating oil passage 150 formed in the third case part 12c to directly supply the lubricating oil from the third case part 12c to the vertical passage 146 in the transmission member 18. Accordingly, a complicated oil passage structure need not to be formed in a rear cover positioned at the end of a housing 12.
