<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for processing an extra length of an optical fiber through a simple operation without impairing a characteristic of the optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The extra length processing tray for an optical fiber relating to claim 1 is characterized in that it includes: a tray body square-shaped in the front view; a cylinder part formed in the center of the tray body and provided with a minimum radius satisfying communication characteristics of the optical fiber; a side wall erected in the periphery of the tray body and composed of a number of cut-free wall materials; a dispersion preventing parts installed inside a corner of the tray body, along the circumference during the forming of a maximum radius of the optical fiber in contact with the side wall; and a fiber holder elastically fitted between the dispersion preventing parts; and, in addition, in the upper part of the cylinder part, there is installed a hook part of a restraining device on the side of the fiber holder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
