摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply pre-load to a bearing by a simple means even when using a ring. <P>SOLUTION: A bearing unit 27 formed to have a pair of bearings 31a, 31b is engaged at its one end 37 with a step portion 30 of a fixed casing 11. A groove 28 is located at a position facing the other end 38 of the bearing unit 27. The ring 29 is fitted in the groove 28 so as to apply pre-load to the bearing unit, thereby fixing the position of the other end 38 of the bearing unit. A rotary casing 12 is held between the bearings 31a, 31b. An end face 39a of the groove 28 is formed at a position where a distance from the step portion 30 is smaller than the width of the bearing unit 27. The ring 29 is provided with an introduction portion 41 formed in such a manner that the thickness becomes smaller toward the insertion side into the groove 28. Both side faces 42a, 42b of the ring 29 are planar and perpendicular to the direction in which the load is applied from the bearing unit 27. With the ring 29 inserted, both side faces 42a, 42b respectively face both end faces 39a, 39b of the groove 28, and the ring 29 is applied with the load so as to retain the bearings 31a, 31b in a pre-loaded state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
