PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip type solid electrolytic capacitor improving ESL characteristics and permitting a further reduction in ESL with respect to the chip type solid electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: Capacitor elements 1 are laminated in such a manner that anode electrodes 2 are arranged in an alternately opposite direction. The chip type solid electrolytic capacitor is constituted with a four-terminal structure in which anode terminals 7a and cathode terminals 8a are exposed at two places, where they are opposed to each other respectively on the lower surface that is a mounting surface. Consequently, a magnetic flux generated by the electric current passed between each terminal is mutually counteracted, and the ESL can be greatly reduced. Furthermore, a distance between each terminal is shortened as much as possible, so as to reduce the loop area of electric current. Accordingly, a further reduction in ESL can be contrived.
