PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact engine valve operation device reducing the number of components and simplifying a structure by sharing a means for regulating movement of a camshaft and a rocker arm shaft in the thrust direction. SOLUTION: In this engine valve operation device, the camshaft 36 is supported by a cylinder head 5 provided with an intake valve 29i and an exhaust valve 29e via a bearing 41, and an intake rocker arm 38i and an exhaust rocker arm 38e connecting the camshaft 36 with the intake valve 29i and the exhaust valve 29e are mounted to the rocker arm shaft 42 positioned in parallel with the camshaft 36 and supported by the cylinder head 5. A fixation bolt 44 abutting on an end part of the rocker arm shaft 42 and regulating movement of the rocker arm shaft 42 in the thrust direction is screwed to the cylinder head 5, and a flange seat 44a abutting on one side face of the bearing 41 and regulating movement of the bearing 41 in the thrust direction is formed integrally with the fixation bolt 44.
