PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus in which a rockable lens barrel and a lens barrier are housed with high spatial efficiency. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 has the rockable lens barrel 9 and having an objective lens 10 and the lens barrier 8 covering over the front of the objective lens 10. In the apparatus 1, the lens barrier 8 moves to approach to the center 11 of the rocking of the lens barrel 9 so as to open the front of the objective lens 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
