PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot-operated self-traveling vehicle superior in indoor usability, easily getting a balanced even posture by an elderly person who has weak leg and hip and reducing burdens to the leg and hip. SOLUTION: The foot-operated self-traveling vehicle 1 comprises a pair of left and right wheels 6, 6 and a main shaft 4 for connecting these; a one side drive rod 5a projected from the main shaft 4 in a perpendicular direction at a position close to one side of the main shaft 4 and provided on the same line at both sides while straddling the main shaft 4; the other side drive rod 5b provided at a position close to the other side of the main shaft with a phase difference of 90°from the one side drive rod 5A; a base plate 3 provided relative to the main shaft 4 in the state not restricting rotation; and one side stepping plate 2A and the other side stepping plate 2B provided on upper surface sides of the one side drive rod 5A and the other side drive rod 5B respectively and liftably supported in a vertical direction directly and/or indirectly through the other member by the base plate 3 in the horizontal state.
