PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out displaying at a position easy for a user to visually recognize without requiring electric wiring or the like that can impede the user's visibility and operability in a constitution in which reporting related to an ink tank state such as an ink residual quantity is carried out by a light emitting part such as an LED. SOLUTION: The light irradiating function for displaying information by irradiating light is separated from the light emitting part (101). A light guiding part (104) which carries out optical connection between the light irradiating part and the light emitting part is set at a substrate (100) equipped in the ink tank. The light emitting part and a displaying part can be arranged separately at optimum positions.
