PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of reinforcing a column with wing walls. SOLUTION: The method of reinforcing the column 10 with one or more wing walls is implemented by boring N (≥2) through holes HiA, HiB in the individual wing walls 12A, 12B at locations near a column main body 10A in a manner that the through holes HiA, HiB are aligned in the vertical direction, and N groups of reinforcements each constituted of two or more reinforcements K1i, K2i are individually allotted to the N through holes. Then the N groups of the reinforcements are arranged such that the reinforcements of each group enclose the column main body at a height of the through holes corresponding thereto to bind a main reinforcement, and that one or more reinforcements penetrate the through holes corresponding thereto with free ends of the respective reinforcements being superposed on each other. Further a polymer cement mortar layer 15 is formed so as to fill the N groups of the reinforcements therein, and therefore the N groups of the reinforcements are settled in the column main body 10A.
