PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type filtering device without requiring a bulk showering water in cleaning paper stock slurry which is not liable to coagulate and to provide a paper stock reproducing system utilizing the same. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the drum type filtering device 30 set to remove foreign materials from paper stock slurry obtained by disintegrating paper stocks such as used papers, brokes or the like, comprising a drum screen 33 laterally installed as rotatable, a dilution mixing tank 42 storing diluting water for immersing lower part of the horizontally installed drum screen 33, wherein a plurality of mixing impellers 47 are formed set to protrude to the diameter direction for agitating fluids in the mixing tank 42 and a protruding member 46 is formed along the axis of the drum screen 33 direction to give a change to the flow caused by the mixing impellers 47.
