Provided is a system for extinguishing fire in a secondary battery module, which allows detection and rapid extinguishing of a fire accident occurring in a battery module. The system for extinguishing fire in a secondary battery module(10) comprises: a battery management system(30) connected to each unit cell in the battery module to detect the temperature of each unit cell; and a fire extinguisher connected to the battery management system to eject an extinguishing agent into the battery module depending on control signals of the battery management system. The battery module comprises a plurality of unit cells(11) arranged at predetermined intervals and a battery housing(12) in which a cooling medium flows.
