A method and an apparatus for transmitting a watching history of DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiving terminal are provided to transmit the watching history to a DMB system without losing the generated watching history. A method for transmitting a watching history of a DMB receiving terminal includes a step of generating and storing program watching history messages corresponding to a plurality of programs according to DMB signals received through a plurality of DMB channels and output(103), and a step of transmitting the program watching history messages to a DMB system. All of program watching history messages generated for a predetermined period are accumulated and transmitted to the DMB system at the request of the DMB system.
