A plasma display panel is provided to improve discharge stability and prevent damage of a dielectric layer by forming an electric-field concentration unit having curvature. A first panel includes a first substrate(502), a plurality of X and Y electrodes(512,514) disposed on the first substrate, and a first dielectric layer(509a) for covering the X and Y electrodes. The X and Y electrodes are extended in parallel to each other in a cross direction on the first substrate. The first dielectric layer includes an electric-field concentration unit(520) having a shape of groove. The electric-field concentration unit is formed at the dielectric layer corresponding to each of the discharge cells. The electric-field concentration unit includes a lateral lower end part having predetermined curvature.
