We provide a sink drain air freshener container that is generally used with sink cover or a sink strainer/stopper. The air freshener container contains a plastic- based air freshener that emits the fragrance for at least 20 days after being unwrapped and placed in use in a sink. The air freshener contain er has perforations to enable the container to be drained. The strainer/stopper is preferably made of disposable plastic and the container is preferably par t of the top portion of the strainer/stopper stem that is used in conjunction with the strainer/stopper perforated basket.
