<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose acylate film having proper water permeability, excellent in adhesiveness with polarizing films, having small contact angle after saponification, brought to have contact angle difference in a face or both faces and able to satisfy time dependent stability of degree of polarization required in high temperature and high humidity environment and good adhesiveness. <P>SOLUTION: The cellulose acylate film is produced by melting/casting, has 150-800 g/(m<SP>2</SP>24hr) water permeability at 40°C and 95% relative humidity and satisfies following equations (1)-(3): equation (1), 2.0≤X+Y≤3.0; equation (2), 0≤X≤2.0; equation (3), 1.2≤Y≤3.0; X expresses degree of substitution of acetyl groups; Y expresses total degree of substitution of 3-7C acyl groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
