<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device wherein a dedicated mounting bracket is unnecessary, heat is favorably radiated, and a structure is provided for fixing an inductance component that can be adopted in relatively large power supply devices. <P>SOLUTION: An inductance component, such as a transformer 4, is placed on a metal base plate 1 with its core 32 in contact with the plate. A metal cover 2 is mated with the base plate 1. A protruded portion 47 protruded inward is formed on the top panel 2a of the cover 2. The protruded portion 47 of the cover 2 is brought into contact with and pressed against the upper face of a core 31.
