PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grill which enables the saving of energy without spoiling the convenience of a double side grill by making a cooked object heatable from both above and below by an upper burner alone. SOLUTION: A heat receiving plate 6 made of a high heat conductivity material receiving a radiant heat from the upper burner 5 is disposed within a grill chamber 3 and a cooked object a is placed directly on the heat receiving plate 6. The cooked object a is heated both from the top and bottom respectively by a direct heating with the upper burner 5 and by an indirect heating through the heat receiving plate 6.
