The invention relates to a control method for a converter comprising a step-down device with a first switching element (ST) and a step-up device with a second switching element (SH), these switching elements (ST, SH) being switched on and off by a control device by means of a first and second pulse width-modulated trigger signal (A1, A2). A second reference signal is formed from a first reference signal and from a difference value. A comparison signal (V) for both reference signals is determined, and the first trigger signal (A1) is modulated with the comparison signal (V) and with the reference signal, and the second trigger signal (A2) is modulated with the comparison signal (V) and with the second reference signal. This makes a simple chronologically coordinated control of the switching elements (ST, SH) possible in the step-up and step-down devices. |
