An air channel in a casing (11) of a ventilator (10) has arranged in it an air supply fan (26) for supplying outdoor air indoors, an air discharge fan (25) for discharging indoor air outdoors, and absorption heat exchangers (91, 92) for controlling the humidity of air. A control means (90) estimates a current air supply amount of each fan (25, 26) based on the speed of airflow detected by airflow speed sensors (71, 72), and regulates the capacity of air supply of each fan (25, 26) such that the current air supply amount is maintained as a target air supply amount.
