<p>Provided are a hinge structure that is simple and has no deterioration with age and where production of a clicking sound is suppressed, a portable terminal with the hinge structure, and a hinge unit. The hinge structure has a hinge unit (3) where a body and a hinge head (3a) are connected via a rotation shaft so as to be swingable in a predetermined angle range, a display-side housing (1) to which the body is fixed, an operation-side housing (2) into which the hinge head (3a) is inserted with a predetermined gap in between them.
