<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery having enhanced safety and high energy density, to provide its manufacturing method, and to provide the lithium secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: (1) This positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery is composed by coating the surface of the positive electrode 3 formed by supporting a mix containing a positive electrode active material, a conductive material, and a binding agent on a collector with at least one kind of ion-permeable resin 4 selected from resins of load deflection temperatures above 100°C measured at 18.6 kg/cm<SP>2</SP>load based on JIS K 7207. (2) This lithium secondary battery includes: a positive electrode 3 containing a composite oxide of lithium as a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode 2 using, as an active material, a carbon material capable of doping and dedoping lithium ions, lithium or a lithium alloy; and a liquid or solid electrolyte; and uses the positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery described in (1) as the positive electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
