<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents display reproduction system in which even if reproduction is temporarily stopped according to user's convenience, reproduction initiated from a stopped position is possible at the time of resuming when contents delivered by a streaming form from a contents supplying section are being reproduced using the streaming form in a display reproduction section or an operation controller itself. <P>SOLUTION: When the contents distributed by the streaming form from the contents supplying section 12 are being reproduced using the streaming form in the display reproduction section 14 or in the operation controller 17 itself, even if the reproduction is temporarily stopped according to user's convenience, since contents meta-information and reproducing position information have been stored, the reproduction initiated from the stopped position is made possible at the time of resuming. At the same time, a thumbnail image is clipped from the contents at the time of the temporary stop to display the image thumbnail clipped on an operational panel of the operation controller 17, thus making it possible for the users to grasp the substance of the contents at the time of the stop at one view. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
