<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the local heating of a power device such as a motor or inverter for traveling, and to improve escaping capability from a stall status. <P>SOLUTION: In a hybrid vehicle 1 where a transmission 14 is connected through a first clutch 13 to an internal combustion engine 11 and a first motor 12 serially connected to front wheels Wf and Wf, a second motor 16 configuring a three-phase brushless DC motor is connected through a second clutch 15 to the transmission 14. When a vehicle is started by the driving force of the second motor 16 from the idle status of the internal combustion engine 11, a motor output control part 18 calculates a torque requested to the second motor 16 according to the tilt angle of the traveling surface of a vehicle, and calculates a continuous power supply time T1 corresponding to the stator coil of any phase of the second motor 16.
