<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus having steps fewer than that in a conventional coating apparatus, capable of uniformly applying a coating material on the inside surface of a hollow body and recycling the excess coating material in the formation of a coating film on the inside surface of the hollow body such as a bulb for a lamp. <P>SOLUTION: The coating apparatus for applying the coating material 3 on the inside surface of the hollow body 2 formed to provide an opening part 1 possesses a rod like supporting member 4 inserted inside the hollow body 2 through the opening part 1, an electrostatic coating nozzle 5 supported by the tip part of the supporting member 4, a nozzle rotating mechanism 6 for rotating the electrostatic nozzle 5 and a coating material recycling mechanism 7 for recovering the coating material 3 sprayed from the electrostatic nozzle 5 but remaining without applying on the inside surface and supplying the coating material 3 again to the electrostatic nozzle 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
