<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support metal fitting for a roof capable of securing required strength in its base part, without thickening a plate material itself constituting a support member. <P>SOLUTION: This support metal fitting 1 for the roof supports and fixes a frame body for installing a rooftop installation arranged on the roof. A support metal fitting body 2 forming a main body of the support metal fitting 1 is bendably formed of the base part 3 formed of a plate material having the desired plate thickness and width and fixed to the backing material side constructing the roof, and a fixing part 4 uplifted upward from the base part 3 and supporting and fixing the frame body Y side.
