PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool and a cutting method, capable of simultaneously performing both cutting and pressing processes to reduce the machining time. SOLUTION: This cutting tool includes: a cutting blade abutted on a member to be cut and relatively moved to cut the member; and a pressing member for pressing a cut surface formed on the member to be cut by cutting. The pressing part is abutted on the member to be cut simultaneously with the cutting blade, and adapted to press the cut surface formed in the member to be cut by the cutting blade.
