PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin coated fertilizer composition for total weight manuring in a raising seedling box where a fertilizer layer itself has high water-retention when the fertilizer layer consisting of a resin coated fertilizer is prepared in the raising seedling box. SOLUTION: The fertilizer composition for total weight manuring in the raising seedling box consists of the resin coated fertilizer. The granule number of the fertilizer composition in an apparent volume of 50 ml is in the range of 1,200-2,600. When water of 50 ml is added to the fertilizer composition of an apparent volume of 50 ml, the whole apparent volume is 82 ml or less. The raising seedling bed for rice plant seedlings has a bed soil layer, the fertilizer layer consisting of the fertilizer composition, a seed rice layer and a soil covering layer in the order from the bottom.
